The following facilities are available in Grenada Village. They are administered by the Grenada Village Community Association, and enjoyed by a great number of residents throughout the year. They are a tremendous asset to the community.

Community Hall

The community hall is maintained and administered by the Association.

The hall has recently been fully renovated with both the interior and exterior being repainted, the wooden floors being re-sanded and new drapes being purchased. Safety glass has also been installed in all of the lower window panel's and a Vulcan propane gas wall heating unit has been fitted. 50 new chairs have been purchased, and a security lighting system is now in place.

Children's Park and Play Area

The children's park and play area was substantially upgraded in 1997. A new drainage system was installed and all access ways were reconstructed. Two low wattage decorative lamps were also erected. This play area is very popular and is in constant use. The playground equipment undergoes regular safety checks and is maintained by the Wellington City Council.

Tennis Courts

Two fully enclosed sealed tennis courts adjacent to the community hall are available at any time to financial members of the association. These are not for general public use. The courts have also been upgraded with the majority of the wire mesh perimeter fence being replaced. A new gate has also been installed. Access is obtained by contacting a nominated key holder.
